Hello all! Here is a research study for you to consider. The study is being conducted by the University of Illinois with help from Lingraphica. They reached out to TAP to see if any of our clients are interested in participating:
*Help science and technology work better for people with speech challenges
Who: Adults of all ages, have a speech and/or language impairment from stroke, can answer yes/no questions, can follow basic instructions, can read or repeat simple sentences, have Internet access with computer or tablet, have someone who can help you log on
What: Record sentences and answer questions on our website. You will record 450 speech samples. You have up to three months to complete the recordings. It will take you about 7 hours. You can record a lot or a little at a time. You will be paid up to $180. Your caregiver can earn up to $90.
Where: In your own home on your computer or tablet.
Benefit/Risk: There are no major risks or benefits for being in this study. You may get tired when you record.
